Buddhist retreat ….. meditation, anyone ever attend a weekend retreat in one of these?

I'm not Buddhist, but I've heard that is a retreat center outside Houston in the small Santa Fe was recently lost in that area and that is where I finished. When I looked through the front door, I felt that, had spoken, I feel like I was in a totally different world. It's a good feeling.

I like to listen to any gospel … or the music of the forties and fifties … get up super early … DO'NT nap …. a glass of white wine hot .. bathroom, etc. .., and be sure to have a comfortable bed …. do not eat before going to sleep well …

Some public schools and universities are granting requests for Muslim prayer times, prayer rooms and ritual foot baths, prompting a debate on whether Islam is being given preferential treatment towards other religions. The University of Michigan at Dearborn is planning to build foot baths for Muslim students who wash their feet before prayer. I'm always looking something new to try. I have a hard time entering a trance state without music, and I often change my music to help it keep working. Tibetan singing bowls work really well for me, as does Wolf Parade (for some strange reason. It must be the voice of Spencer Krug). I love the spirit of the Native American flute music for meditation or rituals. Depending on the energy I want to hear the didgeridoo U.S. or drums to native and singing. I like the Celtic flute trying to get in touch with the deities of the north, and while calling on the element of wind and rain I like ancient Chinese dynasty (usually 5) flute music or full dress.
