Pagans and Pagans and Friends: What music, if any, would you prefer to use for rituals or meditation? ?
I'm always looking something new to try. I have a hard time entering a trance state without music, and I often change my music to help it keep working. Tibetan singing bowls work really well for me, as does Wolf Parade (for some strange reason. It must be the voice of Spencer Krug). But … If you have something that works for you, I definitely check it out. @ Senior: You responded thoughtfully, so if your a heathen godless pagan Norse or you can wear with pride the "friend" the mantle.
I love the spirit of the Native American flute music for meditation or rituals. Depending on the energy I want to hear the didgeridoo U.S. or drums to native and singing. I like the Celtic flute trying to get in touch with the deities of the north, and while calling on the element of wind and rain I like ancient Chinese dynasty (usually 5) flute music or full dress. Just put me at peace and helps me focus on the things or the intentions that I am working to manifest. Blessings to you
